Francesca Durand serves as the Associate Professor and Department Chair of Educational Leadership at Russell Sage College, where a doctoral program aims to cultivate visionary and ethical leaders in education. With extensive experience, Francesca also holds roles as Project Co-Investigator and researcher at the University at Albany, focusing on studies related to educator stress during the COVID-19 pandemic and the effectiveness of Common Core practices. Previous positions include significant research collaborations and teaching roles at various institutions, alongside a background in retail product design and management. Francesca holds a Ph.D. in Education Administration and Policy, as well as a Master’s in the same field and a Bachelor’s in Economics.
