Michael Yeung is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the University at Albany, SUNY, since September 2020. Prior to this role, Michael worked as a Postdoc at Northwestern University from November 2016 to July 2020, focusing on the design of new transparent metals, and held a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education, recognized as an EERE Postdoctoral Research Awardee from November 2016 to November 2018. Michael's academic journey includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry attained at UCLA between 2010 and 2016, where research efforts concentrated on designing new superhard metals, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from UCLA acquired in 2010.
