Damita A. Davis is the current Chief Diversity Officer at SUNY Brockport. Damita has held this position since November 2016. Prior to their current role, they were the Qualified Administrator at Intercultural Development Inventory from January 2014 to May 2021. Damita also served as the Associate Director, Programming and Educational Initiatives at Boston College from August 2002 to January 2014. Her previous experience also includes serving as the Director of Multicultural Programs at Emmanuel College from January 2000 to December 2002.

Damita A. Davis is a Doctoral Candidate in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration at UMass Boston. Damita has also earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in College Student Counseling and Personnel Services from the University of Rhode Island, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Human Development and Family Studies, General from the University of Rhode Island. Damita is certified as a Qualified Administrator by the Intercultural Development Inventory.
