Kati Ilomäki

Kati Ilomäki has a diverse work experience starting from 2012, where they worked as an Authorized Translator for Russian-Finnish on a freelance basis. In 2016, they served as the Editor-in-Chief of Taekwondo magazine at the Finnish Taekwondo Federation. Following that, they worked as an Undergraduate of Forest Sciences at the University of Helsinki. In 2017, they contributed as a writer for Maaseudun Tulevaisuus, a publication by Viestilehdet Oy. Kati then transitioned to the role of a Freelance Journalist, interviewing individuals for various articles and publications. In 2018, they had roles such as a Media Follower at Yomando AB, a Freelance Journalist at FOKUS MEDIA FINLAND OY, and a Marketing Coordinator at Fingertip. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Communications Specialist at Suomen Kuljetus ja Logistiikka SKAL ry, where they targeted different groups for communication purposes. Currently, they are employed as a Google Ads Account Manager at Suomen Digimarkkinointi Oy starting from 2021.

Kati Ilomäki completed their education at several institutions. In 2000 to 2003, they attended Kuopion Lyseon lukio and obtained their Matriculation examination / Abitur. Following that, from 2004 to 2006, they studied Interpretation and Translation, Russian at the University of Helsinki. From 2006 to 2010, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Translation Studies, Russian at the University of Tampere 1925-2018. In 2008, they had a brief period of study at SPBGU, the State University of St. Petersburg. Moreover, they continued their education at the University of Tampere from 2010 to 2012 and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) in Translation Studies, Russian. In 2018 to 2019, they participated in the Digital Excellence Academy with Google, specializing in Growth Hacking in Digital Marketing. Additionally, Kati Ilomäki has earned several certifications, such as Google Tag Manager Fundamentals, Advanced Google Analytics, Google Ads Video Certification, Google Ads Search, and Shopping Ads Certification, all from Google.
