Matt Thomas

Matt Thomas has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Matt began their career as a Staff Assistant/Sports Medicine professional at 9th St Active Feet, where they provided gait assessments, recommended proper footwear, and conducted educational demonstrations. Matt transitioned to become a Team Sales Director, focusing on sales for middle schools, high schools, and local club sports teams.

Following this, Matt worked at Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic as a Therapy Aide/Buying Agent, where they performed exercise prescriptions for the Physical Therapy Department and assisted in patient treatments.

Matt then joined The Athlete's Foot / Capital RunWalk as a Medical Marketing Coordinator. Matt played a critical role in developing and maintaining relationships with referring doctors, pedorthists, and therapists. During their tenure, they helped transform the store into a running specialty account, resulting in a significant increase in sales and expansion of the store's footprint.

Currently, Matt is employed at Superfeet Worldwide. Matt initially started as a Sales Representative for the Carolinas region, responsible for sales and training of Superfeet Premium Insoles. Matt'sduties included providing sell-in and sell-through support, educational assistance to retailers, and supporting independent reps in the area. Matt then progressed to the role of Regional Sales Manager for the East, before assuming the position of Director of US Sales.

Matt Thomas completed their education in a chronological order. Matt attended WV Northern Community College from 1994 to 1995, and studied Early Entrance. Matt then transferred to Ohio University from 1995 to 1997, where they pursued Biological Sciences. Finally, they attended West Virginia University from 1997 to 2000, and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Exercise Physiology.

In addition to their formal education, Matt Thomas obtained two certifications. In January 2000, they completed the ASEP Sport First Aid certification through the National Federation of State High School Associations. Matt also became certified as an ASEP/NFHS Coach, earning this certification in January 2000 as well.
