Michael Rutherford

Michael Rutherford has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Michael is currently the President of Superior Medical Staffing Services, a multi-million dollar medical staffing company based in Northeast Florida. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Consultant at Rutherford Consulting, where they conducted supply chain evaluations and market research.

Before joining Rutherford Consulting, Rutherford held various roles at CSX, a transportation company. Michael served as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for different divisions, including Merchandise and Industrial Products. Michael played a key role in driving revenue growth and market share despite company restructuring and disruptions.

Rutherford also has experience in the apparel industry, having worked at adidas as the Head of Originals (Style Division) in Italy. Michael successfully implemented marketing strategies and achieved sales growth for the Originals brand.

Earlier in their career, Rutherford worked at Johnson & Johnson as a Category Manager and Junior Product Manager, where they managed brand marketing and contributed to the growth of consumer packaged goods.

Additionally, Rutherford has served in various leadership roles outside of their work, including as a Member of the Board of Directors at The Indiana Rail Road Company, Chairman of the Rail Sub-Committee at the National Defense Transportation Association, and Board Member of the CSX Good Government Fund.

Prior to their corporate roles, Rutherford worked at the International Energy Agency as a Research Associate, conducting research and managing online content for the gas technology sector.
