Kevin Latham

Kevin Latham has extensive experience in credit and commodity risk management, with a focus on the energy sector. Kevin currently holds the position of Director of Credit & Commodity Risk Management at Superior Propane since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Inter Pipeline from 2015 to 2022, holding various roles such as Director of Credit, Commodity Risk Management & Contracts, Director of Credit & Commodity Risk Management, and Credit Manager. At Inter Pipeline, they were responsible for establishing the Market Risk Department from scratch and played a key role in selecting vendor software and implementing the Energy Trading & Risk Management system. Before joining Inter Pipeline, Kevin worked at BP as a Strategic Credit Team Lead from 2010 to 2015, where they focused on credit risk management. Kevin also worked at Suncor Energy as a Senior Credit Analyst from 2008 to 2010 and at Gibson Energy as a Credit Supervisor from 2006 to 2008. In their earlier career, Kevin held roles such as Credit Analyst at Triland Metals and Energy Cargo Operator at Arcadia Petroleum Limited. Kevin started their career at Shell International Trading & Shipping as a Credit Analyst and gained experience in credit and international commodity trading.

Kevin Latham pursued their education in a chronological order, starting with their Bachelor of Arts (BA) (Hons.) degree in Business Studies from the University of Plymouth. This three-year program was completed between 1995 and 1998. Following this, they attended the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers from 2001 to 2004, where they specialized in Shipping, Energy, and Law. Kevin obtained a Post Graduate Chartered Shipbroking degree during their time at the institute.
