Alexsa Rivera is a Quality Specialist at ALOM since January 2022. Previously, Alexsa worked as a Data Entry Intern at the USGS - Northeast Climate Adaptation Science Center from August 2020 to May 2021, processing images from wildlife camera traps and assessing snow depth and occurrence. Experience also includes serving as a Resident Advisor at California State University, Monterey Bay from August 2018 to March 2020, where guidance and support were provided to residents through campus services and community programs. Additionally, Alexsa was a Research and Teaching Assistant for the CSU-LSAMP Costa Rica Expedition in June 2019 and participated in a Research Internship with CSU-LSAMP in June 2018, focusing on tropical biology and conducting original research on hermit crabs in Costa Rica. Alexsa holds a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from California State University, Monterey Bay, completed in December 2021.
