Eoin Hodge

Chief Engineer at SuperNode

Eoin Hodge has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Eoin is currently serving as the Chief Engineer at SuperNode Ltd since August 2019. Prior to this, Eoin worked at OpenHydro, where they held multiple roles including Power Systems Manager and Senior Design Engineer. In these positions, they were responsible for leading engineering teams, designing and manufacturing tidal turbine power systems, and conducting research and development. Before joining OpenHydro, Eoin worked as a Design Engineer at Applied Superconductor Ltd, focusing on the development of high-temperature superconducting fault current limiters. Eoin started their career as a Design Engineer at Mitsui Kinzoku ACT Corporation.

Eoin Hodge has pursued a substantial educational background in the field of engineering. Eoin holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical and Electromagnetic Engineering from the University of Wollongong. Prior to their PhD, Eoin obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Engineering from Munster Technological University. Eoin's foundational education includes a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree, also from Munster Technological University. Moreover, Eoin expanded their knowledge by engaging in a program offered by MIT xPRO, where they studied Architecture and Systems Engineering from 2019 to 2020.
