Cassio Goldschmidt has extensive experience in the information security industry. Cassio began their career in 2006 as a Senior Manager of Product Security at Symantec, where they were responsible for product security assurance, vulnerability management, security development lifecycle implementation, and security training. Under their management, Symantec reduced the number of advisories published each year for 4 years in a row and received top ratings on BSIMM assessments both times it participated. In 2012, they moved to Intuit as a Security Business Partner, acting as a Deputy CISO for a number of Intuit business units. In 2013, they joined NCR Corporation as a Principal Information Security Leader, responsible for establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision, strategy and program to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected. In 2016, they moved to Aon as Vice President of the Cyber Resilience Practice, where they were responsible for managing all aspects of client engagements from their inception to the delivery of the final work product. In 2018, they joined ServiceTitan as the Senior Director and Chief Information Security Officer. Cassio also became a member of the Forbes Technology Council, where they were a thought leader and contributor of articles on industry-related topics for publishing on Forbes.com. In 2021, they joined Glilot Capital Partners as a Board of Experts, where they supported the seed and early stage funding of Glilot Partners, worked with leadership and advised on growth potential for the fund, and assisted with identifying partnerships for the portfolio. In 2022, they joined Bessemer Venture Partners as an Operating Advisor. Cassio also founded and advised Superplayer, a company that launched in 2013 and rapidly grew to more than 4.5M registered accounts.
Cassio Goldschmidt has an extensive educational background. Cassio obtained a BS in Computer Science from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul in the years 1992-1997. Cassio then went on to receive an MS in Software Engineering from Santa Clara University in the years 1999-2002. Lastly, they obtained an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Technology from USC Marshall School of Business from 2004-2007. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from institutions such as Microsoft, LinkedIn, (ISC)2, and the CryptoCurrency Certification Consortium.
