Delisa Govender

Delisa Govender has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Delisa started their career as a Sales Assistant at Poetry Stores in 2013. In 2015, they worked as a Post Production Supervisor at Khinc Studios. Delisa then pursued opportunities in the advertising industry, starting as an intern at Ogilvy South Africa in 2017 and later becoming a Junior Art Director. Delisa also participated in the D&AD New Blood Academy in 2017. In 2018, they joined Angels On Earth SSG (PTY) LTD as an Administrative Assistant and continued in that role until 2021. In the same year, they worked as a Digital Art Director at Ogilvy South Africa before transitioning to their current role as a Conceptual Art Director at Superside. Additionally, from 2019 to 2021, they served as an English Second Language Instructor at Panda ABC.

Delisa Govender's education history includes a Certificate in Writing and Editing from the University of Michigan in 2020. Delisa also obtained a BA (Honours) in Motion Picture Medium with a focus on Visual Effects from AFDA in 2016, and a BA in Motion Picture Medium with a focus on Visual Effects from AFDA in 2013 to 2015. Prior to their university studies, they attended Jeppe High School for Girls from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, Delisa has obtained several certifications including the Superside Boarding Program from Superside in 2021, the Family and Friends CPR Orientation from RESUSCITATION COUNCIL OF SOUTHERN AFRICA in 2020, and Verified International Academic Qualifications from World Education Services in 2019. Delisa also holds a Comprehensive 120-hour TEFL Certificate from MyTEFL, which was obtained in 2019.
