Mathieu Bardonnanche has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Mathieu began their career as a Defectivity Technician at Atmel Corporation in 2001. From 2002 to 2003, they worked as a Chargé d'affaires bancs d'essais moteurs essences at PSA Peugeot Citroen. Mathieu then returned to Atmel, now known as LFoundry, where they served as a Defectivity Technician and Quality, Measurements, and Analysis in Line specialist from 2004 to 2011. Following this, they joined LFoundry Rousset SAS as a Quality Engineering Technician and In-Line Measurement specialist from 2011 to 2014. Finally, they worked at SuperSonic Imagine as a Product Quality, Support, and Failure Analysis Engineer from 2014 onwards.

Mathieu Bardonnanche started their education journey at Collège Commandant Cousteau in Rognac, where they attended from 1989 to 1993. Mathieu then went on to lycée jean monnet in Vitrolles to pursue their Bac S degree, specializing in mathematics, from 1993 to 1996. After completing their high school education, Mathieu enrolled at IUT d'Aix Marseille to obtain their DUT Mesures Physiques degree in Techniques Instrumentales, from 1996 to 1998. During this time, they also attended Aix-Marseille University, where they further expanded their knowledge in physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, fluid mechanics, vibrational mechanics, and electronics. Mathieu completed their education at Prépa ATS, earning a DEUG STPI degree in Sciences et Techniques pour l'Ingénieur from 1998 to 1999. Mathieu then attended Polytech Orléans in 1999 and 2000, although further details about their degree or field of study are not provided.
