The Opportunity
The role of the Business Development Representative (BDR) is to follow up on inbound and outbound activities deploying various prospecting approaches across target accounts. The primary role of the BDR is to get in touch with prospects, identify their interests, discover their needs and qualify potential buyers while helping to nurture and strengthen the relationship between the prospect and the Sales Executive. Through a combination of email, phone calls and leads, our BDR team mission is to generate qualified pipeline that converts into won revenue for the Sales business.
What You Will Do
Execute outbound lead generation activities using phone, email, LinkedIn and other prospecting tools.
Build and maintain custom sequences of communication with prospects.
Maintain active engagement with leads through informed, strategic, and creative follow-ups
Leverage CRM & internal sales intelligence tools
Meet and exceed activity metrics defined by sales management
Record all communication within CRM
Exhibit qualities of coachability, self-motivation, teamwork and positive overall attitude
Willingness to learn, understand and communicate Supplier.io’s value proposition
Strategize with sales team to understand on-going sales effort
