Ryan Waddoups

Ryan Waddoups is the Senior Editor at Surface Magazine. Ryan has been with the company since November 2018 and in their current position since November 2019. Prior to that, they were the News Editor at Surface Magazine from November 2018 to November 2019.

Before joining Surface Magazine, Ryan was with Interior Design Magazine for two years and three months, first as the Associate Web Editor from March 2016 to July 2016, then as the Assistant Web Editor from February 2015 to March 2016, and finally as a Digital Editorial Freelancer from November 2014 to February 2015.

Ryan began their career as a Communications Intern with the Brooklyn Bridge Park Corporation from September 2014 to February 2015.

Ryan Waddoups graduated from New York University with a Bachelor's Degree in Urban Design & Architecture Studies and Metropolitan Studies.

They work with Catherine Hong - Editor at Large, Andrew Russeth - Deputy Editor, and Justin Rose - Multimedia Content Editor. Their manager is Diane Solway, Editor in Chief.
