Dr. Paul Alcock is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a comprehensive background in information security roles, currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Surgical Information Systems since March 2018. Additional positions held include Director of Information Security, Manager of Information Security, and Security Engineer within the same organization. Dr. Alcock also contributes to academia as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Incident Response at Georgia Institute of Technology and as an Adjunct Professor of Cybersecurity at both North Carolina State University and the University of Central Florida. Previous roles include Senior Security Analyst at HS1 Medical Management, NSOC Technician at Broadsmart, and Independent Consultant specializing in network security engineering.
