Gabriela Juárez Reyes

Gabriela J. is an experienced research professional currently serving as Research Manager at Zincovery since March 2023, after previously holding the role of Research Engineer there from March 2022 to October 2022. Gabriela completed a PhD in Chemical and Process Engineering at the University of Canterbury from 2018 to 2022, focusing on the recovery of arsenic from CCA-treated timber. In the academic realm, Gabriela also contributed as a Teaching Assistant, demonstrating labs for ENCH395 and tutoring for ENGR101. Prior experience includes working as an Ingredients Handler at Heinz Wattie's and as a Process Engineering Intern at RPC Group Limited. Gabriela holds a BE(Hons) in Chemical and Process Engineering with a minor in Energy Processing Technologies from the University of Canterbury and completed secondary education at Gymnasium Traben-Trarbach.
