TTOC - Teacher Teaching On Call at Surrey Schools

Kathryn (Kate) Knapp is an experienced educator currently serving as an English Teacher at Earl Marriott Secondary since September 2017. In addition to this role, Kate has worked as a Teacher Teaching On Call (TTOC) for both School District #36 (Surrey) since February 2016 and School District 42 (Maple Ridge - Pitt Meadows) since June 2015. Kate also contributes to the Orienteering Association of British Columbia as the Orienteering Adventure Kids Program Coordinator, where responsibilities include creating and facilitating a junior orienteering program. Prior experience includes roles at Sport Chek, Indigo, and Queen's Cross Cold Beer & Wine Emporium, alongside a contract with Orienteering Canada to develop an Athlete Development Matrix. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Education with a minor in Secondary from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Arts Honours in History and English Literature from Queen's University.
