Christopher Afarian

Christopher Afarian is the current Vice President and Treasurer at Momentive. Prior to their current position, they worked at NetApp for 18 years in various treasury positions. Christopher was appointed Treasurer in January 2012 and was responsible for all capital markets and corporate finance activity, worldwide treasury operations, M&A finance, worldwide insurance programs, and technology leasing programs. From 2007-2011, they served as Senior Director and Assistant Treasurer with responsibility for the worldwide treasury function and worldwide AR, credit, and collections. Christopher was promoted to Director of Treasury in 2005 and was responsible for all worldwide treasury operations and corporate finance activities. In 2001, they became the Treasury Operations Manager with responsibility for all worldwide banking, cash management, investment portfolio management, and FX hedging programs. Christopher started at NetApp as a Senior Treasury Analyst in 2000 with responsibility for FX hedging programs and building a treasury system infrastructure. During their time at NetApp, Christopher Afarian was instrumental in growing the treasury function to meet the needs of a rapidly growing company.

Christopher Afarian received their MBA from Santa Clara University and their Bachelor's Degree in Finance and General from the same school.
