Greg Hitchmough has extensive experience in engineering and technology management roles. Greg started their career as a Software Development Manager at Cisco in 1999 and later worked as a Principle Software Engineer at Blueleaf Networks, where they played a key role in architecting the GMPLS control plane and connection management software for a core optical switch. Greg then served as the Director of Software at Polaris Networks, where they managed the GMPLS Protocol Team, Node OAM team, and remote EMS team.

Afterwards, Hitchmough worked at Ciena Corp as a Software Manager, leading a team developing internet telephony software for the CN-1000 Broadband Loop Carrier platform. Greg then became a Software Manager at Solace Systems, managing a team responsible for developing feed handlers for stock exchange feeds.

In 2006, Hitchmough joined Amdocs as a Technical Manager, leading a team in developing a Home Subscriber Server for LTE and IMS networks. Greg later became the Director of Product Development, overseeing core product development and software customization for wireless infrastructure products.

In 2013, Hitchmough joined Expedia Group as a Director of Technology, responsible for software development and program management for Lodging Content Services. Greg then worked at Nokia as the Director of Software, developing the Network Services Platform for Carrier SDN.

In 2016, Hitchmough joined jBilling as a Senior Director of Engineering, where they provided technical and organizational leadership for the Engineering and Operations organization.

Lastly, Hitchmough currently serves as the VP Engineering at SurveyMonkey, where they own and leads multiple engineering teams responsible for building and operating various products and solutions. Greg has also successfully onboarded offshore development teams to augment engineering capacity.

Greg Hitchmough obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Greg attended the university from 1991 to 1996. Additionally, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2013.
