Ray Amanquah

Ray Amanquah is the Sr. Director of Legal at Momentive. Prior to this, they were the Assistant General Counsel at Shutterfly Inc., where they were responsible for corporate governance, Board of Directors, securities and corporate finance, '34 Act reporting, M&A and strategic transactions.

Before joining Shutterfly, Ray was Senior Corporate Counsel at Rackspace, the Open Cloud Company. At Rackspace, they provided legal support on a variety of commercial contracts, including technology agreements, professional services agreements, marketing agreements and real estate leases.

Prior to Rackspace, Ray worked as Counsel in IBM's Software Group, where they provided legal support on software licensing transactions and assisted with the development of IBM's standard software license agreement. Ray also worked as Senior Attorney in IBM's Sales & Distribution group and as an Attorney in IBM's Hardware Group.

Ray began their legal career as an Associate at Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth, where they worked on a variety of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings and equity investments. Ray also worked as an Associate at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison and at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP.

Ray started their career as an Analyst at Accenture. Ray earned their J.D. from Duke University School of Law and their B.A. in Economics from Stanford University.

Ray Amanquah received a JD from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Columbia University in the City of New York.
