Glendon Zinser

Glendon Zinser is a seasoned professional in the field of breast cancer research, currently serving as the Scientific Grants Manager at Susan G. Komen for the Cure since June 2013. In this role, Glendon manages a portfolio of research grants and collaborates with grantees globally while overseeing a peer review committee dedicated to evaluating innovative scientific work in breast cancer. Prior experience includes positions as Research Assistant Professor and Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Cincinnati, focusing on Vitamin D signaling and its implications for mammary gland development and transformation. Glendon also held a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Notre Dame, investigating the role of the Vitamin D3 Receptor. An earlier consulting role at Bone Care International involved assessing vitamin D analog efficacy in cancer models. Glendon Zinser earned a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Pre-med from Ball State University.
