Jennifer Porter

Jennifer Porter has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jennifer currently holds the role of Director, Corporate Partnerships - Pharma & Life Sciences at Susan G. Komen since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Advocacy Consultant at Rx4good starting in October 2022.

From 2020 to February 2023, Jennifer worked at Horizon as a Consultant, Patient Advocacy. In this role, they managed a region of 17 states, reviewed and submitted funding proposals, acted as a liaison between advocacy teams and local partners, managed budgets and invoices, and focused on supporting programming for special patient populations.

Jennifer also has experience at the Arthritis Foundation, where they held multiple roles. From 2019 to 2020, they served as the Director, National Teams, managing a portfolio of 27 national team partners. Prior to that, they held the positions of Executive Director (Oklahoma) from 2018 to 2019 and Development Manager (Oklahoma) from 2014 to 2017.

Earlier in their career, Jennifer worked at organizations such as the American Lung Association, Plains-Gulf Region, the Society of Exploration Geophysicists, Pigskin Preview Magazine/CoachesAid.com, and the University of Oklahoma/"Free Inquiry in Creative Sociology" Journal. Jennifer started their career as an Intern for Public Relations/Membership at the Oklahoma City All-Sports Association.

Jennifer Porter completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from Mississippi College from 2001 to 2005. Jennifer then pursued further education at the University of Oklahoma, where they earned a Master's degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from 2006 to 2008. Subsequently, Jennifer obtained a Master of Human Relations degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma from 2008 to 2010.
