Patricia Durant Flowers

Patricia Durant Flowers, Ph.D., is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in cancer research advocacy, STEM consulting, and education. Currently serving as the Breast Cancer Research Advocacy Manager at Susan G. Komen since June 2023, Patricia also founded and leads Flowers & STEM, LLC, providing consulting services in STEM. Previous roles include serving as the Cancer Care Delivery Research Coordinator at the Southeast Clinical Oncology Research Consortium and Program Coordinator for the Biomedical Research Infrastructure Center at Winston-Salem State University. Patricia has a strong academic background, holding a Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine and Translational Science from Wake Forest University School of Medicine and a BS in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Winston-Salem State University. Additionally, Patricia has taught various science courses at multiple educational institutions, contributing to the development of future scientists.
