Brandi Cornelius

Brandi Cornelius, SPHR / GPHR, serves as the Deputy Director of People Experience at THE SUSAN THOMPSON BUFFETT FOUNDATION since March 2024. Previously, Brandi held the position of Director of People Operations at Everyday Speech from August 2021 to January 2024, overseeing a remote team of 54 employees and international contractors. Prior experience includes roles such as Chief Operating Officer at Bad Rabbit and Operations Manager at Steamboat Bay Fishing Club, where Brandi developed organizational policies and managed teams effectively. Brandi's educational background includes advanced degrees in Writing from The Johns Hopkins University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Social Sciences and Psychology from Portland State University. Additionally, Brandi has experience as a Writing Instructor at Ashford University and as a Columnist for First City Magazine.
