Ravi Kappiyoor

Ravi Kappiyoor is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the field, currently working at Susquehanna International Group, LLP (SIG) since August 2019. Prior to this role, Ravi held positions at Siemens PLM Software from May 2015 to July 2019 and at Third Wave Systems as a Computational Mechanics Engineer from January 2014 to May 2015. Ravi began their career at Virginia Tech, where contributions included responsibilities as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant between August 2010 and December 2013. Ravi earned a Ph.D. in Engineering Science and Mechanics from Virginia Tech (2010-2013) and also holds two degrees from the same institution: a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science and Mechanics and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, both obtained in 2010. Ravi's foundational education was completed at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (2002-2006).
