Saurabh Srivastava

Saurabh Srivastava has extensive work experience in the financial research and analytics industry. Saurabh is currently the Head of Climate Solutions Research and Director of ESG Research at Morningstar Sustainalytics, where they lead a team of over 100 experts in launching and maintaining climate ratings and products. These products help investors manage their exposure to climate-related risks and opportunities. Prior to this, Saurabh held various roles at CRISIL Limited, including Director and Head of Research & Analytics Centre, Director of Risk Analytics, and Chief Operating Officer. Saurabh also worked at Pipal Research, which was later acquired by CRISIL, where they started as a Senior Analyst and eventually became an Associate Director. Saurabh began their career as a Deputy Manager at Times Group and worked as an Analyst at Micro-Credit Ratings International Limited.

Saurabh Srivastava's education includes a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Chemistry from the University of Lucknow, obtained between 1996 and 1999. Saurabh also attended St. Francis College Lucknow from 1984 to 1996. In terms of certifications, Saurabh has obtained several, including a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in November 2021, and certifications related to sustainability, climate risk, sustainable investing, and data science from various institutions such as GARP, EDHEC Business School, Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, and IBM.
