Craig Berman

Craig Berman is an experienced clinical development leader with a strong background in oncology, having held various senior roles in reputable biopharmaceutical companies. Currently serving as Vice President of Clinical Development at Sutro Biopharma, Inc. since May 2020, Craig previously held similar positions at QED Therapeutics and Halozyme Therapeutics, where responsibilities included overseeing Phase 1-3 clinical trials and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on BLA filings and clinical partnerships. Craig's extensive experience in prostate cancer studies is highlighted by tenure as Executive Director of Clinical Development at Exelixis and Senior Director at Medivation, along with various consulting roles and leadership positions in earlier career stages. Craig earned an MD from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and a BA in Chemistry from Northwestern University.
