Sarah Scott

Sarah Scott is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in health law and regulatory compliance. Currently serving as Senior Counsel at Sutter Health since December 2017, Sarah provides legal advice on facility licensing, accreditation, patient care, and EMTALA among other areas. Prior to this role, Sarah worked as an Attorney for the California Department of Health Care Services, focusing on Medi-Cal administration, and as Corporate Counsel for Dignity Health, offering legal support to a large multispecialty clinic. Earlier career positions include Associate Attorney at Wilke, Fleury, Hoffelt, Gould & Birney, as well as various roles in film and marketing. Sarah holds a J.D. from the University of California, Davis, and a B.A. in English & Comparative Literary Studies, cum laude, from Occidental College.
