Suzanne Barakat

Suzanne Barakat, MD, currently serves as an Urgent Care Physician at Sutter Health since September 2023. In addition to this role, Suzanne holds the position of Board Chair at Our Three Winners Foundation since February 2015 and acts as an Advisor for the UCSF Health and Human Rights Initiative from January 2021. Suzanne previously served as Executive Director and Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California, San Francisco's Department of Family & Community Medicine from January 2021 to September 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Family Physician with OB privileges at La Clínica de La Raza and as a Hospitalist at Sutter Health. Suzanne completed Family & Community Medicine Residency Training at UCSF and earned an MD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where Suzanne also obtained a BS in Clinical Laboratory Sciences.
