Delaine Leonard has served as a Senior Lecturer at the Butler School of Music, The University of Texas at Austin since August 2001, teaching various harp-related courses to students at multiple academic levels. Additionally, Delaine has been a Harp Teacher Trainer with the Suzuki Association of the Americas since 2004, conducting workshops for teachers across North America and beyond. With a background as a performer and educator since 1982, Delaine is the Director and Conductor of Longhorn Music Camp Harp Week, and has also contributed as an Extra for the Austin Symphony Orchestra and the Dallas Opera. Delaine's past roles include a Harp Instructor at Southwestern University, founding member of the American Harp Quartet, and President of the American Harp Society, Inc. Educational credentials include a BM in Harp from the University of Northern Iowa and an MM in Harp Performance from The University of Texas at Austin.
