Jan-Erik Osen

Jan-Erik Osen has extensive work experience in the energy industry, with a focus on business development, mergers and acquisitions, and financial analysis. Jan-Erik is currently employed at Sval Energi, where they hold the position of Vice President of Business Development. Prior to this role, they served as a Business Development Manager at Sval Energi.

Before joining Sval Energi, Jan-Erik worked at Equinor for three years as Vice President of Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestments.

Jan-Erik spent a significant portion of their career at Statoil, where they held various positions, including Vice President of Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestments, Project Leader of Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestments, Project Leader of Business Development, and Manager of Business Development.

Jan-Erik also gained experience at Norsk Hydro, where they worked as a Business Developer for two years, and as a Financial Analyst for four years. Additionally, Jan-Erik started their career as a Financial Analyst at the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy in Norway.

Jan-Erik Osen completed their education at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) from 2007 to 2009. During this time, they pursued a degree in Finance and obtained an AFA qualification. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1996, they attended the University of Oslo (UiO) where they earned a Cand Oecon degree in Economics.
