Matthew Maynes

Matthew Maynes has extensive work experience in the energy industry, with a focus on business analysis and commercial analysis. Matthew is currently employed at Sval Energi as a Senior Business Analyst since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at DNO Norge AS as a Senior Commercial Analyst from June 2019 to March 2021. Before DNO Norge AS, they held the same position at Faroe Petroleum from January 2017 to June 2019. Matthew also has experience in portfolio economics, having worked at Centrica from May 2014 to December 2016. Matthew started their career as a Senior Consultant Petroleum Economist at Palantir Economic Solutions from March 2011 to April 2014. Prior to that, they gained internship experience at Cameco Corporation, where they worked on Uranium Market Strategy from July 2010 to December 2010, as well as Environmental Engineering from January 2010 to June 2010. Matthew also had a brief role in Treasury at HSBC from May 2009 to August 2009.

Matthew Maynes obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Saskatchewan. Matthew then pursued a Master's degree in Economics & Finance from the same university, completing it in 2010.
