Marguerite Holmberg

Marguerite Holmberg is a seasoned professional in the electrical engineering field with extensive experience in research and development. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Leader at EPRI since September 2022, Holmberg has also held significant roles at Svenska kraftnät as a system analyst and at ABB FACTS since April 2005 as an R&D Engineer and Development Engineer. Holmberg's expertise includes leading projects related to power-electronic and reactive power compensators, as well as developing cost-efficient drive systems and improving electrical dimensioning methodologies. Previous experience includes development roles at Bombardier Transportation and Alstom POWER. Holmberg holds a PhD in Numerical Methods with a focus on electrical machines from Chalmers University of Technology, complemented by a Master of Engineering in Electric Power Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from prestigious institutions.
