Maria Stenkvist

Maria Stenkvist is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Project Manager for consent at Svenska kraftnät since March 2021. Prior to this role, Maria held the position of Program Manager at the Swedish Energy Agency from April 2012 to February 2021 and worked as an Energy Consultant at ÅF AB from April 2010 to March 2012. Additional experience includes a role as a Management Consultant at Vattenfall Power Consultant from January 2009 to April 2010, and various positions as an Energy Consultant at ÅF Consult and as an Analyst at the Swedish Energy Agency from 1994 to 2002. Maria began their career as a Miljöinspektör at Miljöförvaltningen in Stockholm and Huddinge kommun from 1990 to 1994. Maria holds a Master of Science degree in Land Surveying, specializing in the planning of natural resources, from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
