Ulf Söderström

Ulf Söderström began their work experience in 1999 as a Researcher at Sveriges Riksbank. Ulf then moved on to Bocconi University, where they served as an Assistant Professor from September 2003 to October 2007, before becoming an Associate Professor from November 2007 to August 2008. Ulf returned to Sveriges Riksbank as a Researcher and Advisor in September 2008 and held various roles in the Research Division, Monetary Policy Department, including Head of the Modelling Division from March 2011 to December 2014. Ulf then became the Deputy Head of the Monetary Policy Department in December 2014 and eventually took on the role of Head of Research in November 2019.

Ulf Söderström pursued their education in Economics and Business Administration from 1989 to 1993 at the Stockholm School of Economics, where they attained a Master's degree. Ulf continued their educational journey at the same institution and earned a PhD in Economics from 1993 to 1999.
