Helena Bengtsson

Helena Bengtsson is a seasoned data journalist with extensive experience in both editorial roles and data analysis. Currently serving as a Datajournalist at Gota Media since August 2021, Helena collaborates with various newspapers including Blekinge Läns Tidning and Barometern. Since 2008, Helena has also been the Editor and Project Manager of Data Journalism at SVT, overseeing a team focused on uncovering stories through data analysis in partnership with reporters. Previous positions include Database Editor at The Guardian Limited and Editor of Data Projects at the Center for Public Integrity, along with a significant tenure as Database Editor and Researcher/Editor at Sveriges Television. Helena holds a degree from the University of Gothenburg and attended Chapmansskolan.
