Jesse Frush

Jesse Frush has a diverse work experience ranging from software engineering roles at Microsoft to internships at Boeing. They started their career as an Information Technology Intern at Boeing, where they modernized and improved enterprise websites using JavaScript and JQuery. They also developed an application to automate the refactoring and modernization of outdated ASP.NET web applications. Jesse then joined Microsoft as a Software Development Engineering Intern, where they developed an emulator for software on an embedded system and delivered a full-stack solution with audio, video streaming, and user interface challenges. They later became a Software Engineer at Microsoft, where they owned major features of Windows and Edge browser from design to implementation. Their responsibilities also included working with modern C++, distributed systems, REST API implementation, and being a cryptocurrency subject matter expert. After that, Jesse took on the role of a Teaching Assistant at Iowa State University, where they hosted recitation and review sessions, facilitated office hours, and assisted in the development and grading of class projects. Currently, Jesse is working as a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Swan Bitcoin.

Jesse Frush attended Iowa State University from 2011 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science.
