Juan Thurman

Juan Thurman has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. In 2022, they served as a Board Observer and Investor at Bodhi. In 2021, they were a Member of the Board of Directors at VeMiDoc, a bilingual preventative medicine app. In the same year, they also became the Managing General Partner of SWAN Impact Fund, a fund focused on healthtech and cleantech startups. Prior to that, in 2019, they served as a Member of the Board of Directors at DivInc. In 2018, they were a Board Observer and Investor at Accelerist and a Member of the Board of Directors and Investor at AIQUEOUS. In 2017, Juan joined the SWAN Impact Network as a Director and also became a Venture Partner at NextGen Venture Partners. Additionally, they served as an Advisor and Investor at Homads, a marketplace for month-to-month rentals. Before that, from 2015 to 2016, they were the Head of Sales and Marketing at Retreaver, a company specializing in call tracking and routing technology.

Juan Thurman completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University, where they attended from 1991 to 1997. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the Texas McCombs School of Business, which they completed between 2003 and 2005.
