Marti DiPietro

Marti DiPietro has over 20 years of experience in research operations, R&D operations, and research science. Marti began their career in 1999 as a Research Associate at Rohm & Haas; RheoGene, where they conducted in vivo electroporation studies for the evaluation and optimization of ecdysone receptor gene switches and their components. In 2007, they moved to Palatin Technologies as a Senior Research Associate, where they executed pharmacokinetic studies to determine the fate of novel drugs in rat and mouse models dosed by various routes. Later that year, they joined Merck Research Laboratories as a Research Scientist, where they acted as both an innovative thinking scientific coordinator and hands-on scientist in the early stages of development of cutting-edge RNAi therapeutics research. In 2012, they moved to Merck & Co., Inc. as a Research Scientist, where they developed and validated assay methodologies to support and improve automated compound screening efforts. In 2014, they joined Spark Therapeutics, Inc. as an R&D Operations Project Manager, where they managed cross-functional teams on multiple projects from inception through completion while adhering to project scope, schedule, quality and budget. In 2022, they joined SwanBio Therapeutics as the Director of Research Operations.

Marti DiPietro obtained a Master's degree in Biotechnology from the University of Pennsylvania from 1998 to 2008.
