Andi Chin

Andi Chin has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2000, Andi worked as a National Athlete for the Malaysia Basketball Association until 2003. In 2005, Andi joined Ernst & Young as an IT Analyst - Technology until 2007. Following that, Andi worked at DP Architects. Pte Ltd as an IT Executive, responsible for system administration and technical support until 2009. Andi then joined Omniphics Sdn Bhd as a Web Developer, leading creative services and building sustainable websites for clients from 2009 to 2010.

In 2011, Andi joined Brightstar Corp., initially as a Digital Marketing Manager, where they were involved in online marketing engineering, social media analysis, senior graphic design, creative direction, and web UI & UX design until 2018. From 2018 to 2021, Andi held the position of Head of Marketing & Services at Brightstar Corp.

Moving on, in 2021, Andi had concurrent roles at various companies. Andi became the Founder of Astonish Creative Enterprise, Head of Marketing & Services at Teamwork Sports Management Sdn Bhd, and later the Managing Partner at ET&D Foods Trading. And most recently, in December 2021, Andi became the Head of Marketing & Services at Swap Asia.

Throughout their career, Andi has demonstrated expertise in marketing, services, digital marketing, web development, IT administration, and technical support.

Andi Chin's education history chronologically begins with their completion of the High School Certificate of Competence Program at Methodist Boys' School in the year 2000. Following this, from 1996 to 1999, Andi attended S.M. All Saints for their high school education.

Continuing their academic pursuits, Andi completed an Advanced Diploma in Business IT & Computer Networking at Informatics College in 2001. During the same period, they also completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, specifically in the field of Computer Networking, at the University of Southern Queensland.

In terms of certifications, Andi obtained a certificate in Sports Marketing from Coursera in July 2019. They also have a certification in Sports Management from The Sports Executive Path; however, the exact month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
