Marco Panconesi has over 8 years of work experience in the fashion industry. Marco started their career as an Accessories Designer at Givenchy in 2012 and then moved on to Balenciaga, where they worked as a Senior Designer handling Leathergoods and Women's Jewellery. In 2016, they joined Mulberry Company Ltd. as the Head Designer for Jewellery. Marco also collaborated with Peter Pilotto and Mugler, creating exclusive jewellery collections. In 2018, they became the Head Designer for Jewellery at FENTY, and in 2019, they took on the role of Creative Director at their own company, PANCONESI. Marco later joined Fendi as the Head Designer for Jewellery before starting their current role as the Design Director at SWAROVSKI in 2020.
Marco Panconesi obtained a Bachelor's degree in Fashion/Apparel Design from the Polimoda International Institute of Fashion Design between 2007 and 2009. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in CdL technologies of restoration of cultural heritage at the University of Florence from 2006 to 2008.
