Brooke Bothner

Brooke Bothner is a Research Assistant at Princeton University, collaborating with Professor Rory Truex on U.S. research projects since June 2025. Concurrently, Bothner serves as a Research Fellow in the Historical Political Economy Lab at Swarthmore College, focusing on political violence during Reconstruction in the American South, managing data collection and analysis. Additionally, Bothner holds leadership roles within the Writing Center at Swarthmore, contributing to policies and practices while also tutoring peers in writing. Previous experiences include coaching mountain biking and advocating for young female cyclists through the National Interscholastic Cycling Association. Bothner's educational background includes ongoing studies at Swarthmore College, alongside various programs in international relations and Chinese, enhancing both academic and extracurricular expertise.
