Scott Townsend Aia

Scott Townsend AIA has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Scott started their career as a Designer at Mockbee Coker Howorth in 1986 and then moved on to work as a Designer at Stracher Roth & Gilmore Architects in 1988. In 1990, they became a Principal at Townsend Associates-Architects PLLC, where they worked until 2002. From 2003 to 2005, they served as the Director of Architecture at Townsend Architects, a division of Vollmer Associates. In 2005, they became a Partner at Spotted Zebra Learning Ctr, a role they held until 2017. In 2006, Scott founded 3tarchitects and served as the Founding Principal and later as the Design Partner until 2020. Scott then joined SWBR as a Principal in 2020 and is currently involved in the Albany Riverfront Collaborative as the Founding Instigator & Collaborator.

Scott Townsend AIA completed their Bachelor of Architecture degree at Mississippi State University in the field of Architecture from 1981 to 1987.
