Jana Sterling is currently the Vice President at SWCA. Prior to their current position, they worked as a Park Ranger for the City of Phoenix from January 2004 to June 2006. In this role, they were responsible for providing for the safety of park visitors and protecting parks and natural resources and facilities. Jana also educated park visitors through formal and informal contacts and educational programs.
Sterling also worked as a Biologist for Jones Technologies Inc from January 2003 to December 2003. In this role, they researched and reviewed the delisting petition process and previous delisting activities nationwide under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended. Jana addressed questions about the delisting process in a technical report for publication.
From January 2000 to December 2003, Sterling worked as a Biologist for The Nature Conservancy.
Jana Sterling received a B.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences from Texas A&M University, and a degree in Biology, General from Southwestern University.
