Rebekka Knierim

Project Manager - Archaeology at SWCA

Rebekka Knierim, M.A. has a diverse work experience in the field of archaeology. Rebekka started their career at Trinidad Museum Society in 2007, where they worked as an Archivist and Consultant until 2014. In 2011, they joined POWER Engineers as an Archaeologist and remained with the company until 2018. During their time at POWER Engineers, they also worked at Applied Earthworks as a Field Archaeologist from 2013 to 2015. In 2018, they joined SWCA Environmental Consultants as a Field Archaeologist and quickly progressed to the role of Assistant Project Manager. Rebekka then transitioned into the role of Project Manager in 2021 and has recently been working as a Project Archaeologist.

Rebekka Knierim, M.A. completed their education with a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Archaeology from California State University, Los Angeles in 2016. Prior to that, they studied at the same institution from 2009 to 2013, although the specific degrees and fields of study for that period are not provided. Rebekka also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Anthropology with a focus on Archaeology, which they obtained from Humboldt State University between 2005 and 2007.
