Sarah Lupis

Sarah Lupis is a seasoned environmental professional with extensive experience in planning, communications, and project management. Currently serving as the Lead Environmental Planner and Project Manager at SWCA Environmental Consultants since November 2018, Sarah has also held various roles such as Assistant Project Manager and Technical Editor. Previous leadership experience includes the position of Assistant Director at the Western Association of Agricultural Experiment Station Directors, where responsibilities involved promoting agricultural research across 17 western states. A background in communications includes roles at the Sage Grouse Initiative, Colorado State University, the National Park Service, and Virginia Tech, focusing on strategic communications, public engagement, and outreach for environmental and agricultural projects. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Wildlife Ecology from Utah State University and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Wildlife Conservation from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
