Timothy Clute

Assistant Project Biologist at SWCA

Timothy Clute has a diverse work experience in the environmental and scientific field. Timothy started their career as a Botany/Wildlife Intern with the U.S. Forest Service, where they conducted surveys of rare and endangered plants and animals. Timothy then worked as an Analytical Chemistry Technician at SGS Accutest and as a Canvasser at ENVIRONMENT COLORADO RESEARCH AND POLICY CENTER INC. Prior to that, Timothy served as a Biological Science Technician with the U.S. Forest Service, where they conducted forest monitoring efforts in Northern California.

Timothy also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at Montana State University-Bozeman, where they investigated the impact of water sources on the growth of western conifers. Timothy also worked as a Teaching Assistant for an Environmental Science and Policy course at the university.

Additionally, Timothy has experience in the field of writing, having worked as a Writer for FREE VOICE MEDIA. Timothy also has experience in education, having worked as a Youth Ski Instructor at Copper Mountain Resort.

Most recently, Timothy has worked as an Assistant Project Biologist at SWCA Environmental Consultants, where they assist with biological projects and research. Overall, Timothy has a strong background in environmental science, research, and data analysis.

Timothy Clute completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, General from the University of Puget Sound in the years 2007 to 2011. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Montana State University-Bozeman, which they attained between 2015 and 2018.
