Valdas Lopeta

Valdas Lopeta is an experienced communications and sustainability leader with a diverse background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Head of Communications and Sustainability at Swedbank Lietuvoje since January 2023, Valdas also holds the title of Head of Newsroom and Communication Projects. Previously, Valdas was the Head of Corporate Affairs and Communications at Lidl Lietuva UAB from October 2017 to January 2023, and served as a Communications Manager at DNB from February 2016 to October 2017. Valdas has held various roles including Head of Communication at Danske Bank A/S Lithuania Branch, Account Director at BVRG Burson-Marsteller, and Head of Public Affairs Department at Palink UAB. Early career experience includes serving as a PR officer at Lietuvos draudimas, AB, and as a correspondent at Lietuvos žinios. Valdas holds a Bachelor’s degree in communication and journalism from Vilnius University, earned between 2000 and 2004.
