Jameel Nazir

Jameel Nazir has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on patient access, community engagement, and health economics. Jameel currently holds the position of Vice President of Global Patient Access and Community Engagement at Sobi - Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB (publ), a role they have held since May 2022. Prior to this, Jameel served as the Global Head of Health Economics & Outcomes Research at the same company from October 2018 to July 2022. Before joining Sobi, Jameel worked as the Director of Health Economics and Outcomes Research at Astellas Pharma Europe Ltd. from December 2012 to October 2018. Jameel also served as an Associate Director of Health Economics at Astellas Pharma US from October 2011 to December 2012. Jameel's earlier experience includes working as a Global Health Economics Manager at Smith & Nephew from October 2008 to October 2011 and as an Outcomes Research Manager at Johnson & Johnson (Janssen-Cilag) from November 2006 to October 2008. Overall, Jameel Nazir has a wealth of experience in various leadership roles within the healthcare industry.

Jameel Nazir earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Health Economics from The Manchester Metropolitan University from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained an MSc in Health Economics from City, University of London in 2005. Their undergraduate education includes a BSc in Pharmacology from UCL.
