Lena Bjurner

Lena Bjurner is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer and Head of HR and Internal Communication at Sobi - Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB, a position held since January 2023. Lena has extensive experience as an advisor for Wisory and previously served as Secretary General at Sveriges HR förening until January 2023. Additionally, Lena held a significant role as Board Member and Vice Chairman at Sverige för UNHCR from August 2016 to May 2022. Prior to these positions, Lena was the Head of HR and SVP Human Resources and Sustainability at Scandic Hotels from July 2015 to November 2019, and Vice President HR for Europe Flexible Markets at American Express from 2009 to 2015, overseeing HR functions across multiple European markets. Earlier career contributions include various HR leadership roles within American Express and SEB. Lena holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Business Administration from Dalarna University and has pursued further education at MIT Sloan School of Management and ICAgile.
